WavefrontVanguard

A combined-arms RTS where information is the main weapon. An enemy only exists for you while one of your radars, sonars, sensors or spotters actually holds it.

See first. Strike first.

Every match is fought on a freshly generated map, 8 km across and ringed by open sea. Radar sees far but gives itself away. Night falls and your eyes go dark unless you brought thermal optics. A storm front rolls in and only the radar network can see. The side with the better sensor picture wins the fight before it starts.

The radar scope shows the world as your radars actually see it.
A night battle in thermal view, with burning wrecks and tracer fire glowing
Thermal at night: engines, fires and tracers glow, everything else goes dark.
A tank column at night through night vision, with tracer arcs overhead
Night vision, thermal and radar-scope views change how the battlefield reads.

Cut the crossing

Bridges are real, destructible structures. Drop a section of a truss bridge and that crossing is gone for everyone. Drop any section of a suspension bridge and the whole span lets go, and the column halfway across goes into the river with it.
