Community

Wavefront: Vanguard is being built in the open, and the Discord server is where that happens. It's the fastest way to talk directly with the people making the game, see builds before they hit the devlog, and help decide where the game goes next.
What the server is for
- Playtesting. Multiplayer needs people on the other end of the connection. The Discord is where test sessions get organized and where lobbies actually fill up.
- Bug reports and balance feedback. Reports that come with a screenshot, a replay or a clear repro step go straight into fixing and tuning the game.
- Direct access to development. Ask questions, see work-in-progress builds and screenshots ahead of the devlog, and get answers from the people building it - no forum, no ticket queue.
- Shaping the design. Unit balance, equipment and skill tree ideas, and feedback on the design pillars all feed back into the game. This is a small, deliberate project, and community input has real influence on it.
- A place to talk strategy. Share clips, screenshots and match stories, argue about the best way to break a fused sensor picture, and find people to play with.
Objectives
The community exists to make Wavefront: Vanguard better before it ships, not to be a support channel bolted onto a finished game. Concretely, that means:
- Get enough hands on multiplayer builds to find the bugs a solo playtest never will.
- Collect feedback that's specific enough to act on, and close the loop by showing what changed because of it.
- Keep the people who care about the game in the loop on where it stands, without waiting for a devlog post.
- Build a group of players who'll still be there for the multi-account Steam test and beyond.
Ground rules
Be respectful, keep feedback constructive, and use the right channel for the right thing once you're in. Anything project-specific - what's expected of members, how information is handled - is covered in the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
